Kiss Domestic Mediumhair Kitten Female for sale in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Kiss's story
Do you like chocolate? How about dark chocolate? How about that artisanal 80% cocoa kind of super-fancy dark chocolate? If a little bit of bite and attitude is what you're looking for instead of sickly sweetness, then meet Kiss. She's a chocolaty treat in a tiny, fluffy package that loves people, kitties, play, and attention - on her terms.
This is no mainstream kitten here. Kiss was brought in from the mean streets and it shows in her shyness and unique communication. You see, Kiss never learned to meow. Instead she talks in chirps, chatters, squeaks, and purrs, but also sometimes grumbles, growls, and hisses. She sometimes has her high-cocoa moments where she doesn't want to be bothered, but when she's in full love-me mode she's the sweetest treat! She'll rub on your hands, flop over for pets and rubbins, and even hop into your lap for some scritches. She loves people and attention and also enjoys chasing crumpled up paper balls and tearing them to bits. When she's feeling just-so she'll even sometimes 'fetch' the balls back!
A home and family for Kiss should probably not have small children that do not understand that her scary sounds aren't always meant to be scary, but that she still needs to have her space respected just in case. She does not care for dogs and their noise, but loves cats that love her back. Being a perfect princess however, she has to show them who is boss so a defensive cat may find her off-putting. She would likely do best with cat-siblings that are young and full of energy like her or ones who are just a fan of kittens in general and not impressed with a lot of noise and bluster. Slow introductions are a must.
Her family will also need to have a lot of patience with her since it can take weeks for her to feel comfortable enough to play and snuggle. She's not a fan of being picked up either and will struggle to jump down if she's in the air sometimes. Her family will have to be confident in their ability to handle a timid and energetic kitten who may hiss and growl and even make false swats at them to try and "keep herself safe" until she feels confident in her new home. Her family will need to understand that she's her own independent self and that she won't likely be like any old average kitten, just her own dark-chocolate Kiss self.
